Our Security
The Whalers Cove estate is relatively safe and secure but vigilance by following these guidelines minimises the risk of incidents.
The security and safety of all residents and visitors is reliant on our system equipment and also the care taken by persons entering and leaving the property. It is important that the following guidelines be adopted by all residents:
- Do not provide your remote or other devices to anyone else or leave it hidden outside your property. An unauthorised user can breach our first point of perimeter security and therefore expose other residents to a potentially unsafe environment.
- Report a lost or stolen remote control, devices immediately to your Owners Corporation manager. We can re-programe access rights for the remote.
- Do not allow tailgating at the entry gate. Once you drive onto the property stop your vehicle immediately inside until the gate closes. You can then drive to your townhouse..
- Under no circumstances should you cover the vehicle gate photocell sensors, covered photocells will cause the gate to remain open compromising community security.
If you perceive or detect a security or safety issue please ensure you communicate your concern with the Owners Corporation manager through Contacts on this website.
